Reclamation Warriors are thoroughly looking forward to Salvo Fair 2011, and this year we will be bringing a good range of religious statues, large granite and cast iron crosses, sourced from decommissioned cemeteries in France. Religious icons and artefacts make wonderful design features, both indoors and out, and as interior design pieces these large crucifies work well in both traditional and contemporary settings.
Often highly decorative, these large items look stunning in an open plan modern space, and equally add a touch of gothic drama to traditional interiors. These religious crosses are popular for barn or church conversions, and are also sought after as shabby chic design features.

All francophiles will know that it is part of the French landscape to see a large crucifix at a crossroads or next to a garden gate, and outdoors these crosses look fabulous. Whether situated in a secret corner of woodland, placed in a courtyard garden as a framework for climbing plants or just leant against a wall, these crosses are always a delightful exterior feature.

This year we will also be bringing a very large selection of demijohns, bonbonieres or carboys.... whatever you wish to call them! These are antique glass containers, previously covered in wickerwork, and originally used to transport a wide variety of liquids, including olive oil, beer, cider, brandy and of course in France,.... wine! These are hand blown and come in various shapes, sizes and colours, ranging from 50 to 250.

Reclamation Warriors are are based in northern France, an two hours from Paris, and sell a wide range of antique and vintage products from all over France. We specialise in period homewares, architectural items, vintage bedroom and bathroom items, wine, beer and cider making equipment, garden and agricultural products, antique glassware, vintage kitchenware and metalware items, religious artefacts, woodburning stoves and fires.
