Glass Demijohns, Carboys... new stock has arrived!posted on 3 January 2012 | posted in General Info | ( 0 ) CommentsWe have some beautiful old glass demijohns in stock! We have some beautiful old glass demijohns or carboys in stock! We often wonder how old some of these demijohns (carboys or bonbonnieres!) really are and these beautiful glass containers used to carry. In this region of France they were mainly to transport either cider or calvados (an apple brandy). Other French regions used demijohns to carry brandy, cognac, wine and olive oil. ![]() Share this blog entry:
