Antique French Demi-John or Carboy - Large Round with Dark Green Glass

This wonderful large French demijohn / carboy, or Bonbonniere in French, is in an unusual 'apple" shape, circa 1880 in green glass with the traditional rough cut top with sepantine glass coil.

It would make a fabulous feature in any interior setting, and is a rare example.

This demijohn is hand blown and very attractive indeed,The glass is very thin with air-bubbles in the lovely rounded shaped glass.

A true collectors piece and a stunning decorative feature in any home.

(This is infact one of the best we have seen for sometime)

Dimensions (approx):
45cm (18") high x 45cm (18") circumference

As with all antique and used items, there can be minor scratching and chips due to age.
